Prenatal massage can be preformed after your 12th week of pregnancy. Postnatal massage can be preformed after your 6 week check up. I initially went in to become a Licensed massage therapist for Pre and Postnatal massage. I am a mother of 5 and during my pregnancies massage was the only thing that made me feel better.
Pre and Postnatal massage is always based on the comfort level of Mom. We will start off laying mom face up on your back with pillows under your knees to support the lower back. Then we will go from side to side (side laying) for back. It is really a treat for Mommy and Baby.
The relief of stress, knots, anxiety, depression, and pain will help Mom to sleep better by relaxing her entire body.
